Kenneth and Joost

We are proud to share the news that both Joost Gelijsteen and Kenneth van Surksum have once again been awarded Microsoft MVP (Most Valuable Professional) status for the coming year.

Although the areas of expertise of both professionals differ slightly, they are highly complementary and ideally suited to Secure At Work. Their combined knowledge and specialisations strengthen each other. While one specialist focuses on securely managing devices and workplaces through Intune, the other ensures that users can access applications and data securely and in a controlled manner. This combination provides significant value to our customers. What makes this achievement particularly special is that both Joost and Kenneth have extensive expertise in managing multi-tenant environments and do not limit their focus to large single-tenant organisations. Secure At Work is especially effective in supporting organisations operating in multi-tenant environments.

Joost has been awarded this status for the fifth time in the area of Windows and Intune. Kenneth has been a specialist in Identity & Access for more than ten years and also has extensive expertise in Intune.

This knowledge helps organisations that face challenges such as: How do we maintain control over multiple Microsoft 365 tenants? How do we ensure that devices comply with security policies? And how do we provide users with simple yet secure access to their work environment? Thanks to their combined expertise, we are able to approach these challenges in an integrated way rather than treating them as separate issues.

MVP Status

Microsoft MVP status is awarded to professionals who have demonstrably made an active contribution to the global Microsoft community. Joost and Kenneth contribute to this on a regular basis by sharing their knowledge and experience internationally. They regularly speak at events, organize knowledge-sharing sessions, write blogs, and contribute to the exchange of technical knowledge within the community.

The MVP status is not awarded automatically: candidates must be nominated through the Microsoft MVP Nomination page. A dedicated Microsoft review committee then evaluates the candidate’s technical expertise, the impact of their contributions, and the extent to which they actively share knowledge with the technical community. Based on this assessment, Microsoft awards MVP status for a period of up to one year.

As Microsoft MVPs, Joost and Kenneth receive early access to new Microsoft products and developments and have the opportunity to communicate directly with Microsoft product teams. For Secure At Work, but above all for our customers, this represents a unique advantage: we work closely with the source. The knowledge and insights gained through this connection are directly incorporated into our solutions. This enables us to help our customers identify and mitigate operational risks at an early stage.
